Elite Boxing Group/
Samuel Peter/Duva Boxing

As publicists for Duva Boxing and former WBC Heavyweight Champion Samuel "The Nigerian Nightmare" Peter,Big Media Buzz created a media tornado through the use of effective press releases and extensive industry contacts. Peter went from a virtual unknown to "the most intriguing heavyweight match-up of the year" against Wladimir Klitschko on HBO and eventually won the world championship andBig Media Buzz was there from early on to help make it happen.

Shannon Briggs/JD Chapman/Eliseo Castillo

Working with comebacking former linear heavyweight champion Briggs, once-beaten contender Eliseo Castillo and undefeated power punching Chapman, Big Media Buzz initiated three unique PR campaigns. For Briggs, the focus was on letting the public know he had matured and should be considered a serious threat to the heavyweight title again. Chapman's unique story was that he was plucked from rural Arkansas because of his natural power. For Castillo, the object was to make him a serious player in his newer, lighter weight division (cruiserweight). BMB was there to ensure that all three fighters got the attention and publicity they deserved. All three benefitted greatly with several televised appearances.

Update: Shannon Briggs won the WBO World Heavyweight Championship in November 2006.
